Style is all about individuality and expression. Stature represents  intellectual greatness. When I think of style and stature, no name comes to mind other than Mos Def. An incredibly gifted MC, poet, and actor. Though Mos Def is often grouped with fellow socially conscious  MC’s ie. Common, Talib Kweli,  Mos Def is a man all his own.

His style is retro, classic, and sophisticated. An homage to the days where men wore suits as a daily uniform. Perfectly tailored and consistently sharp, Mos Def style is just as brilliant as his music, definitely thought-provoking and an oasis to the banal and run of the mill. His style is clearly evident,  his stature is audibly spoken. A man of distinction indeed.
