As one of the most successful X-Factor (The European version of American Idol) winners, Burke has enjoyed four no.1 singles from her debut album alone and even opened for Beyoncé on the European leg of her I Am..tour. While Alexandra is a hit overseas, for her second album, she wants to conquer to ever-difficult American market. Working with some of today’s leading hit-making producers (Stargate, Red One, Swizz Beatz), it looks that she and her label are not joking.

But it is not just the A-list producers that she is working with that may help her top the charts here the states. It is that VOICE. Citing the legendary Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson and Beyoncé has her biggest influences, Burke’s voice is reminiscent of the days when true vocalists were not a rarity in the music industry. Simply put, she can out-sing and perform better than most of today’s most successful female singers. Combine this with her beauty, likable personality and great music for the second LP, it may be safe to bet on Burke hitting it big in the US.
