The fierce and fiery Rihanna appeared on the latest episode of Saturday Night Live, performing “What’s My Name?” and “Only Girl (In The World)” both for the first time on TV.

Instead of Posting Nicki Minaj’s Duet with Eminem…
…I’m going to say this.
While, I was initially pleased with the vibe, sound and feeling behind the song and ready to express my excitement in a post…Eminem ruined all of that.

Rihanna’s Top Style Moments
She’s the Last Girl On Earth, she’s Rated R, she’s Loud, she’s a fashion icon. She is Rihanna. As we are all prepping for her fifth studio album , I thought what better time than to note Rihanna’s WOW moments. Though recent looks have left much to be desired, I wanted to revel in the looks that are icon worthy. Without further adieu, I present Rihanna’s top style moments, according to me of course, in no particular order…
The OFFICIAL Cover To Beyonce’s “I Am…World Tour” DVD
UPDATE: Beyonce World has confirmed that this IS the official DVD cover.
We both attended the concert via Philly and NO ONE, I repeat NO ONE can out perform and entertain quite like our Bee. Two hours of flawless vocals, genius choreography, and moments that leave you jaw-dropped.
As both Ramaj and myself are adamant stans, we have anticipated this day since she announced the I Am…Tour. So we’ll of course watch the DVD until we have every word and ad-lib down-packed to the T. * I digress*
If you missed the CD and DVD covers that appeared earlier this week, you can check them out below:
As Ramaj would probably say: the countdown begins…
As Soul would say- start saving them coins bitches…

Should Ne-Yo Be Worried?

Unlike his past three albums, there seems to be a roadblock with Ne-Yo‘s latest project. And, I’m not just talking about all the pushbacks and failed singles; this time around, I feel all of the issues are stemming from Ne-Yo’s creativity or lack thereof.
Where In The World Is Jill Scott?

“…I’m just flesh and blood. I falter. I am poor. I am blind. I am pitiable. I am naked. But I’m here and that is the blessing. The gift of life.”
She truly has a way with words…

UNHEARD: Ashanti- “In These Streets”

She may have fallen off of music’s radar since her 2002 debut, but that does not mean Ashanti makes bad music. In fact, it’s quite the contrary. Sure, she does not have the best vocals in the world nor has she been given the gift of dance, but music is still her calling. Instead of possessing powerhouse vocals or superstar stage presence, the singer/songwriter has creativity and artistry.
All of this evident on “In These Streets,” a breezy mid-tempo that appears on The Declaration, released in 2008.
STAR VANITY: Chanel Iman Shows Model Style
Is there anything not to love about this look. Models have access to the best clothes known to man , translation- they have no excuse not to look stylish, etc at all times. Chanel Iman looks as a model should, always on the next. That velvet jacket is beyond.
BTW, she’s ranked 13 out the top 50 models…

Beyonce Covers VOGUE Once More
*UPDATE* Just got wind this cover may be fan made, either fake or valid, it’s beautiful so it will stay posted.
Beyonce appears as the cover girl for VOGUE Nippon’s December Issue. Stunning, epic, unpredictable, and the styling is just insane. Leave it to Anna Dello Russo to have Beyonce looking the most amazing I’ve seen in a magazine in a while.Even when Beyonce is doing nothing, she’d doing everything.
She’s so ahead of the pack, its ridiculous…

MODEL MOMENT: Raquel Zimmermann
What I love about models is that much like artist, their work speaks for itself. If such a statement were ever true, then Raquel Zimmermann’s is the perfect representation of such. Her work via the runway, editorially, and campaign wise all show her true versatility, sensuality, and spirited personality which have all placed her at the top of the fashion game working with only the Creme de la creme. Raquel is one of my absolute favorite models and has been one of VOGUE’S select few go-to-girls for the past 10 years.
The editorial below is one of my all-time favorite spreads for obvious reasons. So much more than anything words could ever say.
Convinced much…

‘Art Is The Only Way To Runaway’
STAR VANITY: Rihanna Is A Croctus Safron
Croctus safron. The most expensive spice that exist, safron comes from the flower , croctus safron. When I saw Rihanna had adorned herself in such a floral, flirty look, it was my first thought. Rihanna could be wearing pink form head-to-toe and have rainbow colored red hair but there’s something about her that’s plays against anything so feminime and soft, she is that ultra mix of sweet and spicy.
She looks amazing…

America’s Next Top Model Recap {EP.O8}
So, we’re almost half way through the competition meaning a winner will be chosen soon. This week’s airing included no photoshoot, no incredible photographer thus there are no images to post. Instead, a low-budget commercial was this weeks shoot.
This week was all about showcasing the models personalities and what they could internally bring forth. *BORING*
Am I The Only One That Misses Girl Groups?
Or, are we over that? It seems that these days, everyone wants to be all about themselves. I remember when strong women united and created AMAZING music. No publicized break-ups or rushed solo projects; a group effort that contributed to the greater landscape of music. Has that day declined?
Am I the only one hoping for a girl group resurrection? Thoughts?
