America’s Next Top Model Recap… Ep. 3

So yesterdays airing of ANTM bought out the best and worse of the contestants. While many of them are forgettable and could only dream of gracing the pages of one of the most important fashion publications, VOGUE Italia, there were a few aspiring models who showed potential and allowed themselves to just be in the photo shoot challenge as oppose to over thinking it.

As the challenge had each of the girls posing as a “Fallen Angel” photographed by Anne Menke with themes such as evil, fear, lust, etc, each of the models were to encapsulate their Angel’s demise from grace.

There were only three contestants who executed the shoot. Ann who reigned supreme with the best photo back to back, Chelsey (top right), and Kayla (bottom right). Each of them expressed their theme in a not-so-obvious way which made for some great shots.

The guest judge this week was the outspoken fashion legend Patricia Fields. The Sex and the City stylist was just as blunt as one would expect. I have to say I was in agreement with most of the judges critiques as many of the photos left them uninspired. So Lexi was deservedly sent home leaving the rest to hopefully execute the next photo shoot challenge. So Until next week…
